Last summer, the SBA enacted new rules commencing the implementation of a far reaching Government-Wide mentor-protégé program. The program applies to all small businesses. This webinar will cover the new rules, including:

• the eligibility requirements for both protégés and mentors,
• the required terms and conditions and benefits of mentor-protégé agreements, and
• the advantages of creating joint ventures between mentors and protégés in order to compete for small business set-aside opportunities.

Featured Presenter: The seminar will be taught by Ken Brody, a founding partner of the law firm of David, Brody and Dondershine, LLP in Reston, Virginia. Ken has thirty-eight years of experience dealing with procurement issues, initially as a government trial attorney with the Department of the Navy, and for the past 29 years in private practice. His practice focuses on representing government contractors, particularly small businesses, on all aspects of government contracting, including negotiating agreements, the requirements of small business programs, and litigating contract disputes.
